The Triform Journeyperson
Triform’s Youth Guidance Program is a transitional program. The intention is for the young adults graduating from the program to move on to one of the adult lifesharing communities or to another residential/vocational option. Triform does maintain a very small Journeyperson program with limited availability of openings.
The purpose of the Journeyperson program is to offer the opportunity to continue to work and live as active members of the community and, often, to serve as models or mentors for those entering the Student or Apprentice program. Occasionally a young adult, upon completion of the Student and Apprentice programs, may be uniquely suited to transition to this long-term phase of Triform’s program. The families of these young adults make a significant long-term commitment to Triform in both financial and social resources.
The size of the Journeyperson program, the availability of openings, and invitations to join the program, are all at the sole discretion of Triform. Because the Journeyperson phase is not appropriate for every young adult who has graduated from the Student and the Apprentice program, and because the number of Journeyperson positions is very limited, young adults and families entering Triform do so with the understanding and expectation that Triform is a transitional program from which it is most likely that the young adult will graduate and move on from Triform to the next stage of their life’s journey.
