Triform is looking for a Day Habilitation Assistant

Part-time (25 hours/week)

The organization: Located in Livingston, NY, Triform Camphill was founded in 1979 with a mission of building a vital community life together with young adults with intellectual disabilities. Triform bases its work on the recognition of the spiritual integrity of the individual regardless of ability and aims to provide dignified, meaningful work, a healthy social atmosphere, and a vital cultural, artistic, and spiritual life.  

Responsibilities:

·         Assists Day Habilitation Program Coordinator in tasks related to daily activities.

·         Supports program participants with intellectual disabilities in completing tasks related to Staff Action Plan goals.

·         Supports program participants with social/emotional skills in relation to the group.

·         Supports program participants in completing projects and tasks as independently as possible.

·         Substitutes driver for daily transport as needed.

Requirements:

·         Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities

·         Must be at least 21 years of age

·         Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

·         Highschool diploma
